Request a room away from the reception for a quieter stay, as the noise can be bothersome at times.

Excellent location as it's and close to several shops, restaurants, and sights, King's Palace and main sights. It is around 4-6 minutes' walk from Streetxo, where you can have dinner. The queen room is spacious and has a mini-fridge and a kettle.

No complains at all, I had a really good stay and would come back for sure. The hotel was little and simple with best possible location just next door to 2 main metro stations, all attractions and the center of Madrid's night life.

The location, fantastico, in the middle of all the great sites of Madrid, convenient for the metro, Plaza Mayor, Puerta Sol, Gran Via, Mercado de San Miguel, everything. Clean, central and free Wifi , Comfortable & for the price, unbeatable, staff were great and pleasant.

What an absolute disappointment! The small shared bathroom for nine rooms was a nightmare-totally unacceptable. And don't even get me started on the cranky old lady at reception who couldn't bother to help me. After all, I expected a complimentary upgrade or at least a courtesy offer for my troubles. Shame!

We liked the central position so there was no need for a hire car. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable but our fridge didn't work and there was no hairdryer. Would stay there again as good value for money.

The room was kept very clean and available with balcony and private bathroom, as example. Hair dryers and bath sheets was a plus.

I stayed for 2 nights in a Double or Twin Room. The room was clean, and the bed was comfy. They kept it tidy every day and even brought fresh towels. Location was prime, just a quick 5-minute walk to the metro. Staff were really nice and stored our luggage for us 😊

The Hostal is in a brilliant location with many of the main sights easily walkable. Rooms are of a good size and standard and v. clean. Staff were great. Definitely recommend.
Very very minor but it can be a little noisy at times.

do recommend for a trip
Clean room, friendly staff, equipped with a tv and good shower facilities, just a 5-minute walk from the metro, super easy for us to explore nearby attractions.
The atmosphere outside can be quite lively at night, so light sleepers might find it slightly disruptive.

Small personable place where guests are known and valued
If you redo any more rooms, put in a few more outlets. There was only one outlet in our room to recharge our phones, razor, etc.
